Delay Tuned Phase Locking in A Pair of Coupled Limit Cycle Oscillators

Abstract: In this paper, the dynamics of two delay-coupled limit cycle oscillators have been studied. We have assumed both state and its derivative coupling between the two oscillators. We show that by properly tuning time delay, one can achieve phase synchronization between the two oscillators. Our motivation of studying this pair of delay-coupled oscillators comes from its relevance in central pattern generators.
